Welcome to the 2nd Annual Bobcat Trail Marathon which will be run entirely within Burr Oak State Park. We are very excited to be offering to you this event which will showcase one of the most beautiful parks in Southeast Ohio. Be prepared for a challenging and aggressive course, with fantastic scenery and outstanding volunteers who will help make this race a favorite for years to come.
Course Info:
Loop course with rolling hills entirely within Burr Oak State Park, including hiking and bridle trails as well as portions of the Buckeye Trail. Learn more about this great course
Lodging:
Perched atop a hill overlooking Burr Oak Lake, Burr Oak Resort & Conference Center blends beautifully into the surrounding forest setting. Accommodations include a 60-room lodge with a variety of guestrooms and 30 cottages scattered throughout the adjacent hillsides. Learn more about the accommodations
Training:
The Bobcat Trail Marathon in conjunction with Vertical Runner and OhioOutside.com bring you a 3 month training program for the intermediate level runner attempting the trail marathon. Training schedules are on a week by week basis starting on Monday and ending at Sunday. Start Training
